Native Hawaiian, Lopaka Kapanui, has been described by many as Hawaii’s Master Storyteller. Growing up listening intently to Hawaiian mythology and tales of spirits caught between worlds, Lopaka has honed his ability to pass on those tales and more while working with his close friend and associate, Obake Tales author, Glen Grant. For well more than a decade, he has shared his stories and his knowledge of these magical, mysterious islands and his two books, Haunted Hawaiian Nights and The Legend of Morgan’s Corner, are collections of some of those stories.
